San Clemente State Lifeguard Association
We are a 501c3 Non Profit Association that represents some of the finest lifeguards in the California State park System.
The SCSLA is organized exclusively for the following objectives: (A) To establish and maintain high standards of professional surf and open water lifesaving for the maximizing of public safety. (B) Educate all parties interest both public and private regarding; water safety in an aquatic environment; How lifeguards serve the community; How lifeguards can cooperate with other lifeguard agencies. (C) Increase the communication between lifesaving agencies.

The purpose of SCSLA is to promote and advance beach and open water safety education for open water aquatic lifesavers and other public safety personnel and to support programs and initiatives that foster public safety awareness and response in the coastal or aquatic environments.
